Horse health records that make sure nothing slips through the net
Vaccinations, worming, farriery, dentist, ongoing treatments: StallDesk works out the next due dates, brings them up on the day’s screen and keeps a record of every treatment given, with who gave it and when.

What you gain
Safety
No due date missed
Vaccinations, worming, shoeing, dentist: the next date is calculated from the last procedure and comes up on the day’s screen.
Money
Fewer unexpected costs
Reminders come on time, livery horses whose vaccinations are not up to date are flagged, and the owner can be sent a reminder.
Time
The history already there
When a vet or an owner asks a question, it’s all on the record. The health record exports as a PDF, and the prescription is read from a photo.
Today’s due dates come to you
The “Today” screen gathers the day’s medical care and due dates: doses to give, vaccinations to repeat, trimming or shoeing, dentist, osteopath, scans. Tap a due date and it opens the right tab of the horse’s record.
Intervals are set once for the whole yard, for example 90 days for worming, 42 days for trimming or shoeing and a year for the dentist, and can be adjusted horse by horse. The next date is calculated from the last procedure recorded.
- Vaccinations tracked, with compulsory vaccines flagged
- “Repeat this care” copies a procedure to today’s date in one tap
- A look-ahead window, so you can plan before anything is overdue

Every treatment is signed off: you know who gave it
A treatment plan sets out the dose, route, times, reason and vet. It can repeat every day or only on certain days of the week, with times chosen in a single tap.
Today’s treatments appear in the feed round and on the yard screen. Every dose is time-stamped with the name of the person who gave it. No more calling “Who gave it this morning?” down the aisle.
- Administration log, dose by dose
- A dose is cancelled with a clear message, never by an accidental double tap
- Prescription photographed and read by AI, as an option: medicine, dose and duration pre-filled

Farrier, dentist, osteopath: each horse’s cycles
The farriery module tracks each horse’s trimming and shoeing cycle, with its own interval for every horse. Overdue horses stand out at a glance and the week’s appointments are in the schedule.
The dentist, the osteopath and other practitioners have their place in the health record, as do health issues and wound care. Each horse can have its own vet, and the yard a vet for each type of problem: general, lameness, breeding.

The right number in two taps, even at 3am
“Emergencies & contacts” is open to everyone from the menu: vets, farriers, the manager, alternative therapists and the emergency services number, each with a “Call” button.
Each owner’s file sets out what to do in an emergency: who to contact, their vet and the amount that can be spent without their approval. Every horse’s health record can be exported as a PDF.
- A problem flagged as “serious” goes straight to the manager as urgent
- Reporting with pictograms: lame, not eating, injured

Questions about health and care
Can we import our existing vaccination records?
Past procedures are entered on the horse’s record, and the “Repeat this care” button speeds up repeated entries. A horse’s record can be pre-filled from a photo of its passport.
Does StallDesk replace the vet’s advice?
No. StallDesk organises and records the care that has been prescribed; it does not make a diagnosis or suggest treatment.
Are reminders sent by email?
Due dates come up every day on the “Today” screen, at the top of the list once they are overdue. A summary of due dates can also be sent by email on request, and the phone can show a notification for urgent due dates.
